Cover for organisers, every step
Event insurance protects organisers from legal liability arising during your event — covering third-party bodily injury, property damage, and accidents that happen during setup, operation and teardown.
Whether you're running a concert, exhibition, sports tournament, wedding banquet or brand activation, LSC aligns the cover to your venue's contractual requirements — so a single accident does not derail months of planning.
Events we cover
From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions — here are the event types we most often handle.
What event insurance protects
Event insurance coordinates the four covers every organiser needs into a single, manageable policy.
Protects your event against third-party claims of bodily injury, property damage or personal injury arising from operations. Covers legal fees, settlements and medical costs.
Covers accidental injury, disability or death for event staff and participants — including medical expenses and lump-sum payouts for serious incidents.
Legally required in Hong Kong for every employer — including part-time and temporary crew assisting with setup and operation. Covers medical, disability and lost wages.
Reimburses irrecoverable costs and lost deposits if your event is cancelled, abandoned or curtailed due to weather, illness, government order or other insured perils.
Event insurance tips
Share the full run-sheet
Provide event type, date, venue, attendance and setup / teardown schedule so insurers can assess risk accurately.
Check venue requirements
Read your venue's insurance clause carefully — limits, additional insured parties and indemnity wording often differ between venues.
Purchase before setup begins
Policies must be bought before any setup work starts. The policy period should cover bump-in, the event itself and bump-out.
Cover part-time & temp crew
EC is mandatory regardless of full-time, part-time or casual status. Include every helper, MC, performer and tech crew.
High-risk activities need disclosure
Stunts, fireworks, motorised demos, drones, contact sports and minors must be declared — undisclosed activities may void the claim.
Add venue as additional insured
Most venues require you to add them (and sometimes their landlord / management) as additional insured — confirm wording matches their letter.
Consider cancellation cover early
Event cancellation is available as an add-on. If weather, illness or government order is a concern, discuss it at the quotation stage.
Keep the Certificate handy
WhatsApp us your venue's letter — we typically issue the Certificate of Insurance the same day so you can submit on time.
Information we need to quote your event insurance
Please also share any event leaflets or posters if available — it helps us match the right insurer faster.
